Kyrgyzstan – Osh Bazar in Bishkek

The “Osh bazar” (actually a permanent market) is a convivial and huge place. You can find everything here: from potatoes to the smartphone of the latest craze. These photos focus on some people in the Confectionery and Nutrition Department.

Kyrgyzstan – Project with the ADRA

These pictures show the activities of the NGO ADRA in Kyrgyzstan.

ADRA focuses on helping people in emergency situations, especially the elderly. They have created an infrastructure, self-help groups (SHG) and opened a shop selling handcrafted products.

It was a great and rewarding job. Many thanks to the staff of ADRA Centra Asia.
